SafariSeat is a revolutionary, low cost, all-terrain mobility device. It’s easy to repair, and can be manufactured with basic tools, using locally available materials and components.
SafariShop is a mobile shop, enabling a person with disabilities to generate income. A trailer attached to the SafariSeat makes it ideal for transporting and selling goods in the market. A worktop add-on turns it into a mobile workshop, allowing users to perform work activities, such as shoemaking or mobile phone repairing, while comfortably seated in the SafariSeat.
SAFARISHOP SPECS
SafariKid will be a SafariSeat for children, which can be equipped with special postural support for those with reduced motor control.
SafariKid will make use of the core technology behind SafariSeat, the suspension mechanism, which will allow carers to push children over rough terrain, play with friends and access school facilities.
Safari Studio is a mobile office. A worktop add-on to the SafariSeat allows users to read, write, work on a computer or perform tasks with small tools, making it the ideal platform for studying, attending meetings, clerical work and other activities.
